Delightful Book Eases Toddler's Fear of Bears with Silly Surprises and Safety
My toddler, who is 2.5 years old, adores this book. She has a fondness for unexpected and amusing surprises and constantly pleads with me to read the "Silly Moose" ending repeatedly, erupting into laughter each time. Additionally, she enjoys the comforting aspect of finding safety with Mama in the Meadow. This book serves as a wonderful tool to alleviate a child's fear of the unknown. Our sensitive child had developed a significant fear of bears, partly due to the book "We're Going on a Bear Hunt," which lacked a reassuring conclusion and involved questionable parenting choices. Therefore, this book has been instrumental in helping her rediscover a sense of playfulness and security, particularly in relation to bears and venturing into the woods.

Love it!
This adorable and very well written story is about a little girl walking through the forest. She notices everything around her. All the animals and the things they do. She is having fun exploring until she sees a bear. This story not only rhymes, but puts the kids reading in the little girls shoes as she sees the wonder of nature and life all around her. Something we don't do too often in the modern world. With 15 nieces and nephews, I highly recommend this book for anyone with kids ages 4-8.

Cute song, terrifying ending
I did not have an issue with quality as some other users did. The song was cute and 75% of it is great. And then she’s mere feet away from a grizzly bear and my husband even joked that it’s eating the little girl because it’s honestly just bad bear safety and terrifying. Then she finds her mom and the mom doesn’t even seem overly concerned and it ends on a very weird note with a moose. I bought this for a donation but I wouldn’t keep it for my own kid.
